Graduating as a specialist physician in 2012, Dr Ranchod quickly rose to become the Head of the Internal Medicine Department at the Far East Rand Hospital in Springs, a position he held with distinction from 2012 to 2018 during this time, he played a pivotal role in training interns, providing community service, and serving as a mentor to aspiring medical professionals.

From 2012 to 2022, Dr Ranchod served as a Specialist Physician at the Clayton House Rehabilitation Center, where he honed his expertise in managing complex rehabilitation cases. His focus included chronic rehabilitation and addressing intricate medical and surgical issues, earning him a reputation as a go-to expert in the field.

Currently Dr Ranchod dedicates his full attention to Bedford Gardens Hospital, where he continues to make significant contributions to patient and medical education.
